Our company is part of the community — without you, we wouldn’t be here. That’s why we have a range of partnerships and initiatives in place to give back to the communities that support us.
Leukaemia Foundation
When a person is diagnosed with blood cancer, they often need to start treatment immediately. Reduced access to transport due to risk of infection can make getting to and from treatment difficult at an already stressful time.
Holden provides 21 vehicles to the Leukaemia Foundation Patient Transport Program, a volunteer–driven service that provides patients with free, safe and friendly transport when it’s most needed. These vehicles are located across the country, from the Northern Territory to Tasmania.

The Smith Family
We’re helping the communities that have supported us over many years through The Smith Family’s Learning For Life educational sponsorship program in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. Why? It’s the city where it all began for Holden, and where we’ve had a long and proud manufacturing history.

Bass Coast Landcare Network
Our historic Proving Ground at Lang Lang in Victoria is a special place for us — and it’s also home to hundreds of indigenous plant and wildlife species. We support this unique habitat with the help of the Bass Coast Landcare Network, and our own green-thumbed employee volunteers.

Holden and the Environment
Holden strives to continually reduce its impact on the environment. In doing so, Holden holds itself to high environmental standards, often going beyond legal requirements to achieve company policy targets. Holden has a proud history of responsible disposal and recycling of waste, finding ways to reduce its energy and water usage, and giving back to local communities by planting trees in local areas.
